Walter Daniel Crompton was born 10/01/1871 to William Crompton and Hannah Hobson-Crompton, the eigth of twelve children. He had 6 sisters and 5 brothers.

He lived in Ogden, Utah, and married Elizabeth Miller, also of Utah. Any number of children unknown.
