Robert Earl "Bob" Crompton was born to Joseph Crompton and Carolyn Hegler-Crompton in 1928 Ogden, Utah, the second of their three sons.

It was the same week Alexis Korner, British musician was born. (Eventually Alex's "Blues Incorporated" would spawn many members of renowned bands such as the Rolling Stones, Cream).

Margery Charlotte Starlin was born the same year as Robert. The two met, married and raised two children in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Our dear Margery died in the late 1990's.

Robert remarried Beverly "Belle" S. Medlock a time later. Belle is from Adelphia, Arkansas, born 1950, and passed in 2010. Robert would be the last of the three brothers-Crompton to die ln May 19th, 2011 in Branson, Missouri, a month after his younger brother Jack had passed in Omaha, Nebraska. Robert is survived by all his children and grandkids.
