William Henry Sims was born on February 9th, 1856, in Tredegar, Monmouth, Wales.

Rachel Crompton was born November 20th, 1860, 1856 in Lancashire, England, to William Crompton and Hannah Hobson-Crompton, the fourth of twelve children. She immigrated to the US with her family at age six.

The two married and had twelve children (*per the research of Rachel's great-granddaughter Judy Proctor). We presume they lived in Utah or Wyoming. It is unknown what William did for a trade.

William Henry Sims died May 5th, 1917. Rachel Crompton-Sims died January 5th, 1935. The two both died in Almy, Wyoming and are buried in the Evanston, Wyoming City Cemetery.
